Practical Exercise

Set up your GA4 and/or Facebook Pixel tracking on specific pages of your website, using tag templates as well as custom HTML tag types.

Module 3: Dynamic Tagging

  • Using Variables in your Tags
  • Click-based Triggers
  • Trigger exclusions
  • Trigger groups

Practical Exercise

Update your tags to use constant variable as well as lookup tables, and expand your tracking to measure click-based actions on your website.

Module 4: QA & Deployment

  • Understand how versioning works
  • Dive into the QA process
  • Learn how to apply consent requirements to your tags
  • Explore best practices when tagging
